The range of visas under the General Skill Migration Programme include options for applying as an independent migrant and those sponsored by a relative, or nominated by a State or Territory governments.
To be eligible for the skill migration visas You must nominate an occupation that is on the eligible skilled occupation list, have obtained a successful skill migration assessment for the nominated occupation, be over 18 and under 45 years of age, with good English language ability, and recent skilled work experience or a recently completed eligible Australian qualification.
Your application is assessed on a score of points based on your chosen occupation, age, English language level and work experience.
